Privacy policy

This website is operated by DevOrbit. Questions about privacy can be sent via info@devorbit.dev.

When you send a message we store your name, e-mail address, subject and message so we can reply. To prevent abuse we also store a one-way keyed hash of your IP address — not the address itself.

Messages are kept until they have been handled and are then archived. You can ask for your message to be deleted at any time.

We count page views, project views, clicks on demo and purchase links, download requests and search terms. These events contain the page path, the referring website's domain and the interface language.

No cookies, device identifiers, IP addresses or browser fingerprints are stored with these events. Statistics are deleted after 13 months. Browsers that send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals are excluded automatically, and you can switch statistics off on the cookie preferences page.

Visitors receive no cookies for browsing. If you change the colour theme, your choice is stored in a small first-party cookie. If you opt out of statistics, that choice is stored in your browser's local storage.

Staff who sign in to the administration area receive strictly necessary session and security cookies.

The site loads no third-party trackers or advertising. Embedded videos from YouTube or Vimeo are loaded only after you click play; from then on the provider's privacy policy applies.

Purchase, demo and some download links lead to external websites, which have their own privacy policies. The destination is shown next to each link.

Our hosting infrastructure processes technical connection data (such as IP addresses) transiently to deliver pages and protect the service from abuse.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you via info@devorbit.dev.
